چکیده
Plantation forests are one of the main productive activities in Lower Delta Paraná River. The plantation area corresponds to a wetland which hydrological processes fundamental part landscape dynamics. However, forestation is also known for generating different environmental impacts, must be understood order effectively manage it. In context studies at regional scale, it useful identify relationships between functional attributes and those derived from satellite images. aim this paper evaluate use remote sensing recognition phenological patterns Pinus spp., Salix spp. Populus River Delta. We medium spatial resolution images period 2008 2018. Normalized differential vegetation index (NDVI) were analyzed through geographic information systems Google Earth Engine algorithms. NDVI records, by genus date, used generate seasonal, annual monthly time series. plantations showed markedly seasonal response, with lower values winter higher spring/summer. mean than according its perennial (Pinus spp.) semi-deciduous (Salicaceae) characteristics. New methodologies regarding spectral responses region was obtained large volumes data available Cloud, made possible understand detail types forestation.

Although species within the genus Populus are, in general, easier to transform and regenerate in vitro than most other trees, many poplar species are very recalcitrant. Many protocols that previously have been reported were developed for a specific genotype or species. Thus, it has often been necessary to re-optimize a protocol each time research is initiated with a new genotype. The method pre...

In Italy, there has been a significant increase of the areas cultivated with short-rotation forestry (SRF) poplar (Populus spp.) for the production of lignocellulosic biomass. This species has been generally introduced on soils managed with conventional farming practices that led to the formation of a hardpan. This constitutes a serious obstacle for root development and water availability, whic...
